An artist who found his material in wood
Carpintaria Lino’s is the wood atelier of José Lino, a space where drawing, design and a deep knowledge of the material come together in every piece.
Training
An artist by training, José Lino studied arts, equipment design and graphic design, with time spent in fine arts as well. Of all the materials he worked with, wood was the one he identified with most.
Path
His path began in several joineries, where he learned the fundamental techniques of furniture making. In 2021 he started his own business from the ground up: first repairing furniture, then making his first pieces and progressively mastering the materials, always with a particular fascination for solid wood.
With the support of his master, he took on projects above his level at the time and delivered pieces that clients loved. That is how, project by project, he built a name of his own in Portuguese carpentry.

Carpintaria Lino’s | Atelier de Madeira, Av. Carlos de Oliveira 32, 2840-728 Arrentela (Seixal). Opening hours 8:00–18:00, visits preferably by appointment. Installation throughout Portugal. We work with architects, designers and decorators.
